Tom and Norah met in the 1930's and married in 1942.They settled in a small city called Bury, Near Manchester, in the northern part of England. The couple produced three children, Sheila, whom I married, and Anthony both now living in Canada. The youngest, Patrick, continues to live in England. Tom joined the British Army as a Grenadier Guard to fight in the second world war. He saw duty in Italy and North Africa and received the Military Medal during his tour of duty.

Tom earned his living primarily as a bricklayer while Norah stayed at home to raise the children, sometimes working part-time to supplement their income. Norah went on to realize some of her potential later in life when she became a department manager in a large textile factory.

Tom wrote the poetry contained in this page, Norah contributed the artwork.....Click here to see Norah's art work...

The Seale surname has its origins in Northumberland, England. The name first appears in records dating back to the 11th century and is of Anglo-Saxon origin. Seale also has a history of Anglo-Irish ancestry, Tom was born in this house in Milford, Ireland.

The couple has eight grandchildren, Lara, Alexis, Courtney and Michael who live in Canada. Living in England are Patrick, Hannah and David. They now have three great-grandchildren, Rowan, Declan, and Katie all of whom live in Canada.

February 1st, 2006. Sadly, Nora passed away today. She went quickly, suddenly and didn't suffer.
